Hello! Decided i should do some reviews because i've havent been doing them for pretty long already!

Anyway i got this body butter from The Body Shop a couple of weeks back, and tadaaaa!

Description on the box:

Delightful skin softening with cherry blossom extract. NORMAL SKIN.

Product: 4.5/5

Smells really good, i loveeeee the scent (which is kinda the reason why i bought it anyway, besides the point that i needed a body moisturizer) :D It's really rich, and it's definitely really darn moisturizing because it's like a really thick whip cream (: My legs used to be damn dry and all and i do see improvements in my skin and it's not as dry as it used to be, so yeah YAY!! :D I even bought a backup for this in case i run out. HAHA but i think it can probably last me for damn long.

Price: 2.5/5

It's $32.90! which is quite expensive i guess? but with the body shop member discount i think it's a 10 or 15% off so i guess you get to save abit on it (: and it's quite a big tub leh! It's 200ml (6.7oz, 192g). so yeah okay la not bad!

Would I recommend this?: Yup! Go get it girls!

Would I repurchase?: Heh i already did :O

So a few posts down was my Chanel haul on Sunday, and many of you requested reviews for this so here it is! :D

After wearing it out for a couple of days, i figured it might just be my HG product ;D

Totallyyyy lovelovelovelovelove this!! I use my mac 187 with it and it totally gives me an airbrushed look, a decent coverage, evens out my skintone and leaves my skin feeling pretty smooth and matte! (: However if you are looking for some heavy coverage this might not be really ideal.. The texture of the foundation is pretty light and never makes my face cakey, plus its really hydrating, so i really love it for that! Oil control wise, it is pretty good and my skin is pretty oil-free for quite long, but then again my skin is not very oily so i cant really comment much on that. Staying power is good, though it does fade off after being out for too long, but it stays pretty much the same throughout the day (: Has an additional spf 15, which i do suppose is good! It smells great too! (:

Price: 4/5

The price is a little steep, but i suppose thats what you have to pay for such a great product :D And i think its cheaper in Singapore than in other places because on the site it listed $54! which, converted to SGD is wayyy more than $66 =/ haha. So im not really complaining! It's really worth the money xD

Would i recommend this?: YES! Definitely (: Do try it out at the counter and see how you like it though!

Would i purchase this again?: HELL YEAH!

Well as a primer/base i find that this makes my skin feel smooth and primed for my foundation (: Especially since my skin is pink based, which makes me look flushed almost all the time, i use this is Jade which evens out my skintone and makes it look more neutral (: It makes everything look less powdery and more natural, so i really love this (: And the SPF 30 is great, yay! I should also think that this is the product that allows my makeup to last longer as well!

Price: 3.5/5

For such a small bottle, $72 is really expensive. But then you only need to use a little each time, so it should last pretty long.. So.. yeah. Apparently this contains the same amount as the foundation itself, though i dont see how, because the bottle is so much smaller!! Haha ah well. But it's good and you should get it if you dont mind spending the cash, though you could try the other makeup base (i cant remember its exact name) which was $58, but its not tinted or anything. Initially wanted to get that but it went out of stock, so got to try this instead (:

Would i recommend this?: Yep, only if you have redness to cover (: Otherwise either get it in another shade that's more suitable, or the untinted one should work fine too (:

Would i purchase this again?: Yeah why not? (:

Will start off with the 109 brush! Here's how it looks:

Its soft and dense enough for contour :D I'm using it as a contour brush but the MA told me i can use it as blush brush too! :D multipurpose yo! hahah and i thought this is a really good contour brush, and i can use its edges to contour my nose as well :D yay!

Price: 4/5
Price was uh-okay. it was $67 if i remember correctly! but then since its a brush, i guess it will last pretty long yeah. (though obviously we all wish it was cheaper xD but its mac, what to do?)

Next on 187! <3

Been hoping to get this one for sooooo freaking long! Here's a pic:

(though you guys have probably a REALLY good idea of how it looks like, its such a highly raved brush! and that may still be an understatement xD)

YAY so finally got it during the major haul!

The fibers are super super soft, feels damn good on the skin. I actually randomly took it out the other day and just kept brushing it against my cheek for nothing, just felt like it xD HAHA. (im weird yes i know) This brush is really good especially for applying loose powders, or intense colors since it picks up just the right amount and gives you a flawless look! :D i heard this is super good for liquid foundation but since i dont use liquid foundation i cant really comment on this aspect..

Because i think its worth it :D i didnt wanna get the dupes because i heard they dont really last, like the bristles start to fall out and stuff.. or like the white fibers are too sparse or something.. didnt wanna waste unnecessarily on things that dont last! So yeah (:

Hello just wanna share something about the brush cleanser! I absolutely loveeeeeee this thing, it gets my brushes clean in less than 3 mins, really awesome stuff!! hmm maybe i'll do a photo step-by-step thing but its so easy so im pretty sure you'll get it (:

MAC 138 Brush

Product: 5/5!

This brush is superrrrrr soft and fluffy, i love the feeling of it against my face cuz its really really soft and im not kidding! My favourite brush out of all 5 that i've just gotten, and i use it for highlights/contour. I'm thinking its a little too big for contour though, its alot larger than what i initially expected. Here's a rough gauge, against my thumb:

Anyway shall just add in the description of the brush from MAC's website:

A domed brush of ultra-soft, natural fibres featuring a slightly pointed tip with round chiselled sides. Specially designed to streamline and enhance the makeup technique of sculpting and shaping. Use chiselled side for contour shaping of facial planes; the pointed tip for applying and blending powder blush, highlighter or face powder.

Okay, its pretty expensive i must say. $97 for this brush over the counter in Singapore, but i love this brush so yeah i guess its alright, and not like you have to keep buying it? I should think it would last really long if you do take proper care (:

MAC Brush Roll

Again, from the webite:

This brush roll can fit 18 brushes, and they're in two rows. (i put the brushes in alternate rows to show it xD) Quite smart actually, so it doesnt have to be too long, heh.

Yup so these are extra compartments to put more stuff, especially smaller items(:

It's really handy and everything and i absolutely love the casing, okay and maybe its because im quite brand conscious also so the MAC word appeals to me alot. (okay, who doesnt it appeal to?) It really looks damn professional and everything and yeah starts off my mac brush collection! :D

Price is $85, but then im pretty sure this can last forever unless you run out of space. In that case i might just get another. HAHA :D But actually the slots can fit a couple of eye brushes, since the eye brushes' handles are really not that fat, pretty skinny in fact. So one slot could hold a couple of eye brushes, which means it should be able to keep alot of brushes! (: the face brushes that i have, especially the 138 and 187 had to take up the entire slot because they're so fat xD

Okay yup so thats it for my review of these 2 items! :D

P.S. if you were wondering why my photos of the brush roll look cartoony or photoshopped and the brush roll looks really graphic in most of the photos, its because of its material and i used flash for most of it, just except the 1st pic and the one that shows the veil over the brushes.. cause i couldnt take a proper photo without flash, it just appeared black when i did. So yeah, it just turns out like that when i use flash, so its the material, i didnt edit it much besides the watermarks! (:

Hello so here's the mini haul on Thursday when i was at Taka/Wisma.

Got these from Takashimaya Watsons, since i heard so many good reviews on the St Ives. The Sunsilk conditioner was just cuz i needed one, hahah.

Okay since i tried the scrub and the mask yesterday i really really liked them!! :D they're so much more expensive in Watsons though, compared to like Mustafa (since you guys said you all got it for 5.50. i got mine for 8.50! but thats cuz i was too lazy to go down to ppls park or mustafa heh)

Apricot Scrub (Blemish and Blackhead Control)

Product: 4/5!

Loveeee this stuff. Made my skin so much smoother and i can feel it even after one use!!! :D definitely would recommend this especially if you have blackheads! haha. Hate the smell though, and its pretty rough!

Price: 5/5!

Its really cheap considering one tube can probably last quite awhile.. and plus its really good! (though i dont rly like the smell....) It's less than 10 bucks for this!

Hydroxy Masque

Product: 5/5

Love this stuff too, this makes me feel so much more refreshed and like my skin is clear and clean and soft and smooth! HEH. Plus its really fun to peel off xD

Its the same price as the scrub i think, which is really cheap considering its quality and everything (:

Definitely would recommend these to you guys (even though you probably have seen so many reviews already, heh) and i would purchase this again when mine runs out!! :D:D

Yay! I bought this after googling swatches online, and i was deciding between this or Nymphette. Decided to get this in the end! :D

Color is a very sweet pink, goes on pretty sheer, but less so than my Tricolor Lipglasses. (: Love the color! It's really sweet. HEH yay. Also since i dont really like colors that go on too heavy on my lips, the sheerness is really good, and i feel that it plumps up my lips, kinda xD Okay yeah but then! its pretty sticky.. i mean i dont feel it on my lips and i dont mind that much, but i can feel it when i swatched it on my hand.. =/ hahah.

The price is okay! I mean duh, i got it from the F&F sale hahaha so i got it for like 18 or something about there. :D The usual price over the counter in Singapore is $28, and i'd love to get more colors, only if my wallet would allow it though.. but i doubt i'd be getting more, at least not anytime soon. (or maybe i'd try the dazzleglasses heheheheh)

Hey guys! icyabstract requested for a review and swatch on Shooting Star MSF which i got off mac_cosmetics community on livejournal from a really nice seller, and here it is! :D

Here are swatches:

The color is gorgeous! (: when i saw the picture online and swatches and whatever it really looked like a darker brown, but when i got it swatched and all its more goldish bronze than brown, so i really like this one :D the glitter and shimmers might be a little too much for some people but its fine for me. Compared to other MSFs, Shooting Star's pigments are not so chunky and is considered pretty fine, unlike my Gold Spill one -.-.. (will blog about that another time)

I bought this off this girl who found that this was too light for her, she uses like NC45 or something for her foundation, so she's looking for Metal Rock MSF instead.. and because this is too light she decided to sell it off (: I'm not sure where else you can get this, because like any other MSFs its limited edition, and if im not wrong it came out pretty long ago so it might be hard to find. Warm Blend looks about the same but after swatching it at a MAC store it looked like a darker brown in my opinion, so im not sure if it'll be a good dupe for Shooting Star.

This color is really versatile and you can use it as a highlight or contour or bronzer, up to your own preference (: but i have to say that you do have to be careful not to overapply this because you may evolve into a glitter bomb. It is really gold and shimmery! :D

Hey guys! :D So i got a request from rainyydays to do a side-by-side review on my MAC pressed powder foundation, and i was actually thinking of doing that tonight, so here it is! :D

Before i begin, here's a picture of my new baby! My Lightful powder foundation has finally found a home xD there wasnt stock for the silver casing at Taka MAC counters, so today i went to DFS to check out the stocks, and there was! :D

It's seriously a highly reflective surface hahahaha xD

Mmhm! So on to the reviews now!

Lightful Ultracharge Foundation

Packaging: 5/5
- I really like the packaging because it's special! :D I mean alright besides the ones from collections like Style Warrior, this is a permanent line that has a different packaging. The rest are boring black ones (like the Studio Fix one), though yeah they do look professional. But anyway if you want the black casing instead of this silver one you can request to get that, anyway the powder and the casings are sold separately.. They're of the same price though. My only concern is that this will scratch easily but i will try to avoid that! xD

- Loveee this product ;D This is actually Asia-exclusive, which means you cant get it in the US or UK etc, or even from maccosmetics.com! More than a month back i was actually recommended this product by the MA at Taka's MAC counter, because i wanted something to control oil esp at the T-Zone. Had this foundation on today, and it goes on really lightly and gives good coverage! The powder is super finely milled, compared to the Studio Fix line it controls oil better and looks more natural in my opinion and i really would prefer this one (: But you do have to be careful in applying it so that it doesnt look too cakey! And do try it on or ask the MA to help you while choosing this foundation because the shades are lighter than the usual ones from other lines! (:

Price: 2.5/5 ):
- The price kinda sucks ): The refill (as in the powder) and the casing are sold separately, and the refill is $60 while the casing is $14. The casing can be reused, so next time just have to get the refill, so okay yeah good idea. But $60 is really pretty expensive! This is the only thing that puts me off, but gah i suppose you have to pay for the quality!

Will I buy this again?
- Definitely! Unless well.. I get a better alternative. (:

Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation

Packaging: 4/5
- I'm actually okay with the usual packaging, just not that special. But it really doesnt matter hahaha so yeah. There's nothing much to comment on.

Product: 4/5
- I like this product! It was my first ever foundation, and i got it in NW25. I really like this too, just that it doesnt control oil too much, but it's okay i suppose. Might get cakey as well if you over-apply it or something.. But i guess thats the problem of powder foundation? I never really liked liquid foundation because i feel like my face is untouchable, like OMG THERE'S GOING TO BE A FINGERPRINT! kind of feeling.

Price: 4/5
- Affordable i guess! I mean its foundation, and it lasted me pretty long anyway. (: I've used it for over 2 months and its not even halfway through? Okay but considering i dont use it everyday since i've got school and stuff.. ah. It was $47 locally off the counter, there's no separate casing or anything, so yeah i think the price is okay-ish!

Will I buy this again?
- I'm not toosure, but maybe? But i'll probably rather stick with Lightful instead.

To sum it all up, I'd prefer Lightful to Studio Fix, but i wouldnt ditch my studio fix completely, probably might switch around and stuff, heh. I love both of them, but if you have a budget i'd suggest you stick to Studio Fix, though I would say that Lightful is a pretty worthwhile investment! It is, afterall, designed for Asian skin anyway. It's good for everyday look, goes on well and doesnt give you a too heavy look, and controlling oil at the same time! :D
