Taking a break from all the crazy notes, so here i am with a (little more interesting) post!

Since i got a plastic box from Daiso the other time, i decided to make it my essential kit, sort of, and put in all the stuff that i reach out for all the time :D

The brushes aren't actually in the kit because i put them together with the rest of the brushes in my mac brush roll, but since i consider them to be my essentials im including them here as well! xD

Let me start with the brushes :D

My essential brushes are definitely the 187 and the 109 (: Since im always just putting on face stuff because i simply have no time to my eyes ):

187 brush:
I used to reach out for this to apply my edm blushes and all because you know how 187 picks up just enough color from loose blushes and all so i don't look like my cheeks are burnt or anything (: Love it for that! But recently since i started using liquid foundation, i've been using this to apply that and it does give an airbrushed look. Except that my skin is so dry that sometimes when i put on foundation it looks like its flaking :( help, anyone?

109 brush:
This brush is awesomeee, i really really like it! I use this for contouring, and sometimes blush, but this is so dense and it feels really soft. :D love it for contouring! Easy to place color below the cheek bone, as well as good to buff it out with. Yay (:

So started from the top,

Chanel primer and Mat Lumiere Liquid Foundation:
Did a review here previously (: so i don't have much to elaborate on, heh!

Anna Sui Eyelash Curler:
Got this quite awhile back! It's pretty, and it's pretty good i think, but then again i haven't tried other eyelash curlers? Haha :D Actually got this because the packaging and all is just damn pretty, i love Anna Sui stuff (:

MAC blush in Harmony:
My contour shade! (: Got this during the F&F sale back in june/july-ish, actually wanted Emote? But it's discontinued ): This works good though! I use this all the time! It's not too dark or anything. Would definitely consider repurchasing this, but it doesn't seem to be hitting pan anytime soon xD

Lipsticks:
I don't have many so i just throw them in there HAHA but i lovelovelovelove Madly Creative <3 and i'm actually scared i'll finish using it cause it's LE! ):

EDM Brushes:
I use the Kabuki to buff out blushes or anything, and i use the Flat Top to put on the prep+prime translucent finishing powder, and buff out everything else (: They're so crazily soft and feels super nice on the skin, like um pillow. or something. :D

MAC Studio Sculpt Concealor and Monistat Chafing Gel:
I use them together to prevent caking up of the concealor! The monistat chafing gel really helps to make the concealor glide on smoothly and all (: i like. Anyway i'm only left with the 5g jar for myself after selling all the samples, hahaha. Though i only have to use so little each time that i'm even wondering when i'll be able to finish using it. The Studio Sculpt concealor is creamy and i like it, just that somehow it doesn't seem to be concealing my dark circles completely, maybe just lightening it i guess?

ELF mascara:
Well i don't actually really use this, but i tried it and it's really awesome, doesnt clump and curls my lashes quite nicely (: Also slightly volumizes my lashes, i think i'll be using this after my exams! :D IMHO, i think this is better than the Majolica Majorca mascara that i used to have. Haha.

MAC Prep+Prime Translucent Finishing Powder:
I really really like this! It blurs out fine lines and all, and it definitely 'finishes' the look. I use this after my liquid foundation, so yeah (: I don't think this is a definite 'must-have', it's a really good-to-have product (:

The new Everyday Minerals site is up!! And i realised that the super personal custom kit is gone, and replaced by this:

So i suppose it would be a little more expensive, though im glad they didnt take the discounts away for good. The sample kits arent free anymore either, they're now USD$5 each, unless you order something else and then add on the sample kit. BLAH.

Hmm this wasnt made for being a face primer, but for like sensitive areas and all. but there has been SO MANY RAVES about this that i decided i HAD to get it! hahah. I got it from like a spree, so yeah it took a month to get here and all.

Anyone interested in 5g samples please let me know, i can do some for you guys to try! (:

EDM Blush in Best Friends

Um, just decided to get this somehow, didnt know why, since i had SO MANY BLUSHES, some i havent even OPENED yet. Talk about impulse buys. Haha but i havent even opened it, let alone swatch it. Hmm i'm not sure how it'll turn out, its a mauvey pink in the container though.

EDM Foundation Samples in Light Neutral and Light Medium, both Semi-Matte

Not sure if these shades would match me but it looked like it when i saw the swatches on the website! -prays hard-

EDM Brushes (Long Handled Kabuki and Angled Blush Brush)

Heard really good reviews abt these, and i already had the Flat Top, which i really like since its so soft and doesnt shed at all.. So decided to try these too! (:

MAC Paintpot in Painterly

Been wanting this for an eye base so yeah! I should think its pretty good, i tried it on my hand and all :D

MAC Pink Platinum Brushed Metal-x Cream Eyeshadow

THIS COLOR IS AWESOME! Almost wanted to get the other one (Metalblu), a blue one, but decided against it since i had sea and sky MES already! ahh. hahaha. but i love this color (:

yepyep actually thats basically it!! :D i doubt i'd be posting very regularly from now on, since i've A levels coming up and prelims are in a month already! oh damn thats all coming on too soon, i need to be studying 24/7 soon already.
